Many IFA awards go to Woonona - Friday, October 31, 2008
The Sharkies received many awards & trophies at the annual Illawarra Football presentation night. The club received the following awards/trophies - Club Champions, First Grade League Champions, Reserve Grade League Champions, The District League Fair Play award, Number #10 champions award & the Youth Grade Grand Final winners trophy. The following indivduals won trophies Chris Calderbank Park (coach of the year), John Chapman (First grade) & Stephen Lewis (Youth grade) leading goal scorers of the year & John (Pop) Smith received an award for long service to the game of football.
