Ground Switch - Thursday, August 19, 2010

The Div 1 game between Woonona & Bulli has been switched to Ocean Park on Saturday 11am.

 

All 3 Grades To Sharkies - Saturday, August 14, 2010
For the second week in a row the Sharks have made a  clean sweep of their opposition. Fernhill were defeated in all grades by the men from Ocean Park. Div 1 started the day off well winning 5 nil (g/s D Byrnes 2, C Hobbs 2 & P Lewis 1) followed by Youth grade who won 2 nil ( E Fitzsimmons, D Woodiwiss). First grade finished the day with a 1 nil win Ben French was the goal scorer.
 

Trifecta to Sharkies - Saturday, August 07, 2010
The Sharkies won the trifecta at Picton this afternoon winning all 3 grades at their home ground.  Div 1 got the first leg going with a 1 nil win courtesy of an absolute bomb from Chris Hobbs. Youth grade continued on and won 4 - 1 goals to Matt McCoy, Ryan Hunter, Nathan Sackett & Evan Fitzsimmons.First finished it all off with 2 -1 win - g/s Tim Parker, Andrew Bradshaw & Lachlan Fetterplace (o/g) scored for them.
 

Womens games are on at Ocean Park - Sunday, August 1, 2010
The Women's games against Shell City & Bulli are on at Ocean Park today. Kick off at 11 & 1 pm as normal.
 

Woonona secure an important point - Saturday, July 31, 2010
Woonona Firsts secured an important point against competition heavy weights Dandaloo this afternoon with a gutsy 2 all draw at Ocean park. Woonona jumped out to a 2 nil lead after Tim Parker & Cameron Banks netted two superb goals. Dandaloo got back into the game just prior to the break with a soft goal from a set play & then another mid way through the second half. In earlier games Youth grade continued their impressive mid season form crushing cocky Dandaloo 2 -1 Ryan Hunter scored a brace & Div 1 beat northern rivals Thirroul 1 nil goal to James Wood.
 

Youth Cup Game tonight postponed - Wednesday, July 28, 2010

Due to the wet weather the Youth Cup match between Woonona & Port Kembla has been postponed till 11th August.
